Are you serious? That all came from your garden? Those are some LOVELY vegetables! And they have such great shape for being home grown! (minus the funky striped tomato in the front) That’s awesome and such a reward for those of us who have been following your garden adventures this summer! You’re inspiring!
The striped tomato is the best! (Calvin is looking cute too…)
Our plum tomatoes keep getting eaten by birds or squirrels or something… we do have some butternut squash getting big, and a sugarbaby watermelon that’s about the size of my fist so far… We’ve already given away a lot of zucchini. Eggplant are ready for picking. Yum!
Aw MAN! That looks amazing! Those tomatoes, they speaketh to me saying, “lo, and we are good to eat. Cometh forth, therefore, to Ohio and choweth down.”
Mmmm. And also, gorgeous. I love the photo you posted here and at flickr of your beautiful harvest — modern still lifes (lives? How does one pluralize the painting genre?). If you printed those out and framed them, they would make beautiful art for the kitchen or dining room.
How on earth do you have butternut squash already?!?!? And your carrots are huge! Mine are still tiny. 😦 I’ll post some pictures. I just had more Swiss Chard for dinner. Mmmm. It just keeps coming back!

I made salad for dinner from my sil’s lettuce and a variety of my tomatoes. It was delicious! And fresh beats are my favorite.

Oh man…now I’m regretting the spring laziness…
Oh and “Better than Thanksgiving” is awesome.

Looks wonderful, Sarah! We’re getting lots of tomatoes–not much else except herbs (since I didn’t plant anything else!)
